Snippets for Outlook — Chrome extension

Snippets for Outlook collects nothing. It has no server, no account, and no analytics. It makes no network requests of any kind. Everything you create stays in your own browser.

What is stored, and where

The snippets and settings you create are saved locally in your browser using the Chrome storage API. They are never transmitted anywhere. They are not backed up to any service operated by the developer, because no such service exists.

What the extension can access

The extension runs only on these three Outlook Web domains:

It requests no access to any other website. On those pages it does exactly two things: it watches for the keyboard shortcut you configured so it can recognise a snippet trigger, and it inserts your saved text into the message you are writing. Nothing you type is recorded, stored, or sent anywhere. The extension cannot read your inbox, your contacts, or messages you are not actively composing.

What is not collected

Third parties

None. No data is shared or sold, because none is collected. The extension contains no third-party libraries, trackers, or remote code — all code ships inside the extension package.

Your control

You can export all of your snippets to a JSON file, or delete them, at any time from the extension's settings page. Removing the extension from Chrome deletes everything it stored.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date below.
